Savvy Affiliate is running a handy tutorial on using Google Webmaster Tools to improve your site.
Ryan Shamus is running a competition to be the 504th commentator on his blog and win a microbrewery. Sounds like it’s nearing the end, so get in quick!
Jane May has been a busy bee this month. She’s revamped her personal site, been writing for megablogger John Chow and sold her site Career Ramblings after just six months. However, I also stumbled on this post analyzing the site’s growth and sale. Interesting stuff, including the comments at the bottom.
ProBlogger has a post called 5 Things You Should Know About My Dad The ProBlogger from the perspective of his one-year-old son. Clever and cute, a knockout combo.
Self Made Minds writes about the “too busy to make money” excuse he often hears when people ask him how he grew his own businesses.
My Open Wallet is celebrating her two-year ‘Blogoversary’. Two years of blogging is quite an achievement, and I know of several bloggers she’s inspired, me included. Head over for a slice of virtual cake.
John Cow Dot Com is a new blog parody of… yes, John Chow. It’s popular right now, but will it last? Moo knows… (Update: And it’s up for sale already!)
Travel Minx (yes, I’m link loving myself!) has just run its first Carnival of Travel Articles. I spotted a gap in the blog carnival market and took it. It took a bit of work because I got heaps of entries, but they were fun to read and it’s a nice little traffic/linkback booster for a new website.

Thank you Minx! I’ll mail your party favor to SF!
July 8th, 2007 at 7:35 pmHey Minx,
The JohnCow.com site being up for sale could be part of an evil plan. The real John Chow had a post the other day where he mentioned an ‘evil’ way to create a buzz was to put your site up for sale to get people talking. Just a theory
Also, since I got into the original Viralink thing via you, I thought you might be interested in checking out the swollen pickles variation on the theme:
