8 Hugely Exciting Things About Rich Minx
Well, maybe not ‘hugely exciting’ but I’ve been tagged by Chee for the ubiquitous 8 Things About Me meme. While it’s off-topic (what was my topic again..?) I always enjoy getting to know other bloggers better, so here are my 8 things.
1. I get excited by the small things.
Like writing memes. And a good cup of coffee, gourmet burgers, snow globes, and movies. My favorite film is Citizen Kane. Maybe explains the snow globe thing.
2. I’ve jumped off a bridge and out of a plane.
I am not sporty in the least but I like the odd shot of adrenaline and I’m quite proud that I went skydiving at 16 and bungy jumping a few years ago. I screamed during both excursions. The photo on the right is me on the bridge afterwards. I do have photos of me actually jumping (and a hideous video) but they’re in NZ.
3. I am not single.
According to my logs, someone(s) searched Google 10 times for ‘is rich minx single?” No. Sorry.
4. I speak German.
You may have known that already. I seldom get to use it these days, unless I’m eavesdropping on tourists. For an English speaker, in my opinion, German is harder to learn than French but easier than Japanese. I love how German has words that are untranslatable and are 20 letters long.
5. I’ve been to the Playboy Mansion.
No, I wasn’t a bunny. I went along with a friend who worked for a dating site that sponsored a party there, and I wrote about it for a magazine. Yes, I saw the grotto. Yes, there were scantily-clad bunnies. Yes, there were hundreds of geeks with cameras. A once in a lifetime experience, like an Adult Alice in Wonderland.
6. I have an uncanny and pointless ability to remember song lyrics.
This comes in handy never.
7. I spend far too much time on Facebook these days.
Honestly, it’s so narcissistic, but I do. I constantly check in to see what my friends are up to and add silly applications like the Aquarium so people can send me virtual fish.
8. I am an Aquarius.
There, you see, I’ve already run out of stuff to share. But some people believe in astrology, right? What does it all mean? It means I was born in January and I’m fickle and flighty, apparently. Are our blog star signs compatible?
