Would You Like to Upsize Your Combo to $10,000?
The geektastic Digg has an article about a woman who was accidentally charged over $8000 for a Whopper meal. That’s quite a Whopper meal!
I check Digg most days for its sometimes informative and often Zeitgeist-defining links, but I’m more interested in the hundreds of comments these silly stories generate. In this case there’s heated debate about whether anyone should ever visit the overcharging and unhealthy BK, whether this woman kept track of her finances and what she must be doing right to have $8000 sitting idly in her account in the first place. There’s also discussion over the mechanics of debit machines and youth employment conditions. All these topics just because one tired worker keys in some extra figures! So it is on the interweb.
