Ja Kel Daily Dot Com Reviewed
Note: This is my half of a review exchange with Ja Kel Daily Dot Com, a PR5 site. He wants to make money through his blog (who doesn’t?) and here are his review rules. His reviews are only 30 words long max so I will reciprocate. PS. Ja Kel stands for ‘Jason and Kelly’ (Kelly’s his wife).
First impressions: John Chow Dot Com doppelganger: same site design, similar car masthead image, similar site name, similar aim. He promotes SEO products, uses the beer plugin, and offers reciprocal links to increase his SEO and Technorati authority. A closer look reveals a new forum, which is a nice touch (although sexual advice is a topic, unclear why), and the red Ferrari featured in the masthead is actually a rental! I like that.
Update: Jay notified me that his review of my site was up, so I went for a look. It turned out he’d done nothing more than paste my ‘About Me’ contents onto his blog! Laziest. Blog review. Ever.
